Growing pains: finding beauty in your awkward teenage body.

Hi, im Austin and im generally disgruntled and jaded.

I've been drifting since 08 and I'm the ultimate Toyota fanboi having owned a fucking lot of them including 4 IS300's and 2 Ae86. Im from the ziptied/JZXP Era of the internet where people were generally more angry and mean but the community was better and you knew who you were dealing with. Here are some examples of past projects.

Some of you may recognize me from the internet but Im basically a nobody.

My current projects are both Nissans which makes me deeply uncomfortable and irritated as these cars are built like absolute dogshit. One is my 1977 280z that I've backdated to 240z spec and am fully rebuilding from the ground up. Its very close to finished, I think im like 95% done buying shit and now its just installing. I'm sewing interior parts now and its going...poorly.

My other project is the drift car, a 91 s13 with full metal sil front. I just got this thing, its a fucking alabama special if I ever saw one. I've been collecting some parts but also trying not to start on it until the Z is done.

Theres a ton of unfucking to do to it, but the plan is a simple low hp sr and subtle aero. Good paint/full interior, just a car for pure enjoyment with the homies and gas station pics. I have a baby due in may, my first, and I think it would be neat for them to have cool cars to ride around in and have those memories.
