I picked up this coupe after moving to Charlotte NC, in june of 2014, and selling my fastback to my roommate. It had a blown ka and it was a bit dirty but I felt like it was the best base I could find locally for what would eventually be my DD.
Enter 1993 Coupe.
This thing was very dirty and needed a good scrubbing, ka had spun a bearing and was knocking pretty good
Tore it down and painted the bay Nissan creamy yellow ( the intention at the time was to do a 5G8 creamy yellow two tone repaint)
Dropped in a s14 sr20de ( was a whole lot cheaper than rebuilding the ka, at the time )
Put it all back together and enjoyed it for a little bit. KYB GR-2's and Intrax springs. Stock wheels. with some s14 seats. Biggest mistake I made, that I'll never do again, was plastidipping the car white. What a PITA to remove. Typical broke college kid activities.
I now had a reliable daily driver, so I did what any sane individual would do, and I began to modify it.
Got some cheap coilovers, a old bride brix, a pair of enkei 92's, RSR exmag, etc
Then added some 15x9 watanabe reps, a garage defend rep front lip and some oem chuki skirts
Scored a cheap somewhat beatup silvia front
Started drifting it at the local Piedmont drift events
Went snow drifting
Little oops while snow drifting
With zero bodywork experience, it only made sense to install some over fenders, amirite?
Final version of this time consisted of a gcorp flash front bumper, TBO side skirts and a Bomex rear valance. aaaand some shit 20mm vented front fenders.
Finished school, summer of 2017, moved back home to south FL and sold off the front end and skirts to fund the move. Ended up with this.
Got home, landed a big boy job and started on refreshing the whole car. Bought a daily and no longer needed to drive the s13 everyday.
Refreshed the rear end, and started on the next iteration of the bodywork.
Ended up with a "nismo" style chuki bumper, bomex side skirts and the bomex rear valence. oem front fender and rocket bunny v1 rear. bomex mirrors and a version select r32 trunk wing.
Weird mashup of parts that I thought would have worked.
Didnt last long, I found another deal on a silvia front from a homie and I couldnt pass it up .
more bodywork
Another gcorp front bumper
And finally some paint. To this date, I still had every intention of doing the creamy yellow and dark gray two tone, and on the way to the paint shop I changed my mind. This is roughly sometime summer-ish of 2019
Enter: Lavender Frost s13
Right after finishing the paint, we got rid of the warehouse and I moved the car back home
I wasnt completely content with the wheel choice/fitment. I had always wanted a set of advan oni's and finally pulled the trigger on some. With the wheel change, I thought I didnt really need 30mm wide rear overs anymore as the new wheels were 7.5" wide, so I changed the rear over to a "oem" style fender
Got the oni's on it and started buttoning up the interior
Final product
Took it drifting, I suck, I broke it
Fixed
Also went ahead and converted the car to 5 lug and refreshed some suspension bits
Here are the different wheels I ran at the time.
5zigen Pro Racer

Got a coverlay on the dash. Bride driver non reclinable, JIC magic reclinable for passenger. 360mm Nardi classic, etc
Went to japan, had a blast.
Came back and bought myself some ganadors.
More drifty things
Tried my homie's strusses. Solidified the want for chrome.
Bought some gold RG1's instead, added dumb stickers
Advan RG1 17x9.5 +24 with 15mm spacer, square
215/40 front, 215/45 rear
This catches us up to about 2020ish. There is alot more to this car. I will update asap.
Looks amazing on the rg's!
