I intentionally bought a drift car, not a show car, not a low miles perfect car. I wanted something I could thrash and jam with the boys without fear or regret... So here we are!
Purchased my coupe in October 22, the car was maintain by a shop called “4200 Customs”. Originally it had a pop up front and in an effort to save some money Tweed was kind enough to source and install a Origin type 2 hood before exporting the car. I'll attach a few photos with how it looked from purchase to Japan mods before shipping and finally after I got it home in February of 23. Anyone who knows me will see the biggest issue I had... black wheels.
From the time I purchased the car in November I was wilding out buying things I wanted. Caught a deal from Jason at Rival who had some Fineline aero in hand no wait. I purchased a Fineline Dmax type 3 kit and Origin type 3 overs. I also purchased a set of clear tails from Jet Davis and began my hunt for wheels. After selling my Z to fund the Silvia I kept my set of WMB Kiwami's in 18x9.5+0/12. I knew these were the wheels I wanted to run but had to find a pair of 17" fronts that would work on this car. I purchased a set from Crooober, they showed up GTSilver. I purchased a set from Joan and they showed up 10x worse condition than pictured. Finally on my 3rd time around Tweed came in clutch again and purchased a mint set on my behalf and boom my wheel goals at the time were complete.
Going to stop right here for now... I'll finish catching up my post from purchase to current in another update.
