Car too low wheels didn't fit etc etc its so crazy how much more picky these things are than an S Chassis
Also bought some gramlights that look cool but don't fit well (mentioned above)
TC005s had a 5mil spacer that made me anxious as fuck bc thread engagement and without those spacers they hit the control arm soooooooo picked up some minty spec SSR Type C and raised the front 1/2 an inch
Car drives so much fucking better on this wheel and tire setup and higher ride height
Car finally arrived near the end of March in the middle of a snow storm at 2 AM
Dunno if you can tell in the pics but the paint on this car was absolute trash (which I was aware of when I bought it) and my day job is making paint shiny so over the course of like a month and a half I sanded and corrected it
swapped steering wheels
Bought some seats
Last but not least installed a pair of Cusco control arms, lowered it and put my leftover 17 inch TC005s on for the time being
That's probably about it for the next month or two, my 911 broke again the other week so I should probably deal with that next
Doing a private day at USAIR in July tho and can't wait to get it on track for the first time stateside
Alright last post for now I swear, I didn't realize how fucking long I made this already so TY if you've read this far
I'm way too protective of and attached to the S14 to risk totaling it (again) at the track, so with the help of Jordan at Tweed Autogarage I bought a 1998 Toyota Altezza RS200 in July of this year
This car has weird mods done to it. Stock AF under the hood aside from an apexi header and full exhaust, stock interior aside from a Max Orido Nardi and some random reclinable bucket, horrible spec and beat to hell old Rays wheels of some sort with OLD tires, but has Cusco coilovers and Cusco chassis bracing underneath. Also might have an aftermarket 2 way unless the factory LSD in these cars is just super awesome idk, TBD.
Drove the car while I was in Japan last month at Motorland Suzuka and it impressed the hell out of me, I thought it would be super hard to drive coming from the S13 but it's quite the opposite, even on 10+ year old ice skate tires.
I had always been a fan of this chassis and really wanted an IS300 instead of the S13 but obvs couldn't afford one as a 15 year old. I drove a few IS300s before I bought this car and really liked the chassis and interior but wasn't a huge fan of NA 2J, not to mention how difficult it is to find one worth buying. This car with the 3SGE and 6 speed however is one of my favorite driving experiences. Really wish the USDM cars had this power plant, it's seriously so much different and better IMO.
That's about it I guess, as of now sounds like the car will be stateside mid January. Don't have many plans for it at the moment aside from maintenance and shit and making it less ugly but I'm very excited to start a new chapter and learn more about this car.
All the funds I had set aside to make this car cool then went into rebuilding it (btw OEM kouki parts are fucking SPENDY these days)
Thank you John and Kelly at Incaudo Auto Body
And here it is now, admittedly I've given this car almost 0 attention since May of 2022 as I started my business around the same time and had so much going on with the S13 and some other cars I've acquired. Car looks amazing but is still a stock auto KA so there's plenty to be done when the time comes.
(don't mind the bumper gap, crash bar and retainer weren't installed)
Unrelated to the S13, in December 2020 I acquired a 98 S14 from a salvage auction in Maryland, last registered in 2010
One of I think 4 pictures of the car, no pics of the underside, no info whatsoever
Shows up a few weeks later and discover it's not only a slicktop, it's also 100% fucking spotless top to bottom. Literally as clean and structurally sound as it gets. Ran a carfax on it as well and I am the third owner, second owner bought it in 1999.
Runs like new after plugs, oil change, fuel pump, new rubber lines and fresh gas. Coils + 5 lug + Kei Office DD6s that I had sitting around
And then in May of 2021 a Silverado cut me off in traffic, hit the car in front of me and I hit them
At this point the car was getting worse and worse on the underside as it had been a Minnesota car its whole life and I neglected it heavily so I kinda came to terms with the 2022 season being the end and gave it one last exterior redo
Livery once again designed by Sorcerer Graphics and cut by Lazy Rocket
Final event in this car was Knucle Up FNL2 where I absolutely smoked the driver front rail/tension rod bracket so the car was parted out and cut up RIP.
Brought it home and yanked the KA and pretty much all of the suspension for some reason, installed a stock blacktop SR and an angle kit and a shit ton of interior and exterior alterations over the course of 1.5ish years
I bought this car when I was 16 from the original owner with a single cam and an automatic, intending on daily driving it as I had a 5 lug manual S13 coupe at the time as well. No pics of that car unfortunately but it was a huge pile of shit so I yanked the coilovers, diff and manual parts and installed them into this car and sold what was left of the coupe to a friend of mine (who still owns it to this day and it's no longer a pile of shit)
It looked like this for a year or two
Blew the engine, blew up the kit, swapped in a dual cams and it never ran right so I ended up selling it to another friend at the end of 2016 I think, bought a horrible S14, hated it, then straight traded it to my friend again and got the car back probs 6 months later
Other dude ended up installing some straight front end bits and sorting out most of the new KA's issues, so now it was time to de-ugly it
How do you like drifting it vs the S13? Sometimes when I drift my friend’s IS300, I regret not buying one instead of my S14.
Went drifting

Daaaamnn bro nice S14, how'd ya score that?!
TC005s and Altezza is the perfect combo
altezza looks sweet on tc005 and paint correction, whats wrong with da porsche?

i hope you still have those seats that were in the s13.
Oh shit I didnt know the s13 is gone. Looking forward to seeing what happens with the new cars!

Decided I hate the color blue and brought it elsewhere to get painted by someone who knows what they're doing
Commissioned Sorcerer Graphics to draw me up some stickies and had it cut by Lazy Rocket
Drove Super D Midwest and a lot of shit broke
Brought it home and yanked the KA and pretty much all of the suspension for some reason, installed a stock blacktop SR and an angle kit and a shit ton of interior and exterior alterations over the course of 1.5ish years
Painted it blue and it turned out REAL BAD
