Hey everyone! What a dose of nostalgia sitting here creating a forum post. Brings me back to my high school days of constantly scrolling through Zilvia and Ziptied looking at anything and everything.
This Thread is to Cover my current car, my S14 Silvia K's.
How i acquired this car. Crazy enough, I actually won this car in a raffle held by Genjitsu Imports out of Midland Texas in July of 2020. I flew into Texas and drove it back to Virginia, AC blasting, and no issues the whole way.
When i recieved the car it had the folllowing parts:
-Blitz Boost Gauge
-Momo steering wheel with hub
-s15 driver seat
-welded diff
-Brand new Cusco Street Red Coils
-no name exhuast
-knockoff nismo skirts
-Mismatched poopy wheels
These pictures are how i picked it up July 2020. Car had 130k miles, and it was obvious someone had drifted it in japan. From the mismatched seat, the coils, and the fenders were rolled/pulled. as well as the front wheel well you can see where the front tires rubbed the wheel well, so obviously someone removed the angle kit for OEM prior to selling.
Really started enjoying this car despite being in the Middle of the Covid crap (2020). I ended piecing a set of origin DNA wheels back before shipping prices were crazy, I believe i bought a pair from Croober for 550 to my door, and the other pair a friend had locally. Lowered the Cusco Coils down as far as they could go.
Added a few goodies:
NRG Quick Release
Sexy Knights Steering wheel
Cusco RUCA
P2M Rear Toe and Tension Arms.
The car was still using the factory sidemount intercooler so an upgrade was ordered Via Streeter Corp!
FIrst thing on the Agenda was an oil change, Trans flush, and new brake pads all around. Luckily factory silvia brakes are the same as z32 26mm so it was a breeze. Removed and sold the mismatched wheels, and added a mismatched set of GX01 off my old hatchback. Removed the knockoff nismo skirts and began my hunt to finish the oem aero!
The Silvia made the drive from Midland Texas, to Chantilly Va without a hiccup. 24hours and 1650 miles later, and a sore back. I finally made it home. Luckily for me Genjitsu did a full tune up and alignment prior to me leaving Texas. The SR did amazing and averaged around 28-29mpgs even with my heavy foot and that texas heat.
