welcome all, I didn't know what to name my thread so naturally I went with ultimate build thread swag13: 1989 Nissan 240sx!
This car was sold to someone else before I bought it from the great founding father of this here forum...doctor Max G. It came to me in a frankenstein state bc of the inbetween owner.
Here is the car when I bought it. It came with stock seats, steering wheel and no wheels.

The first drive ended with a little bang...
All the axle bolts were hand tight so the right side axle decided to yeet itself right after I pulled off the freeway. Ended up finding a lot of the suspension bolts just hand tight. Ended up stashing at my friends until I could get aaa to save my ass
I wasted no time with this slab. Went silvia front and rep g corp asap (dw I have real g corp in the works I just have negative patience)
it did have this little quarter situation going on and while the kit did come with rear overs...I was trying to keep the stock metal so I had to buy 69lb of filler
once everything was put together I decided to bring it to the bay so I can work on it a bit more. shout out to Andy for the assist jic another axles decides to engage bluetooth mode
once I made it out here I instantly engaged idiot mode and decided to do a reverse build. If you're not as dumb as me and are asking what that means...I decided to make it look less like shit before anything else. Did it run well? no. did it need 69 other things? yes. should i have spent money on other things first? yeah probably but I couldn't risk my ego so to prevent not being cool and to not feel embarrassed to drive it around as I continue to work on it I had to go paint. SO WE WERE OFF TO PAINT!!!!!!!!!!
all this happened pretty quick...anyone notice that the roof and door aren't painted? yeah I make good choices 😎 but dw that eventually gets sort of fixed too
after paint I fucked around with whatever wheels I had laying around and/or bought random pairs and sets to enjoy the fresh paint high
dw nerds, i fix the crazy rear bumper gap pretty soon
