First off, thank god forums are back 🫡
Secondly, I'm now looking to the schassis gods for some advice.
Background: LS6 S13 Coupe, PBM limit break angle kit and tension brackets w/ swaybar
Issue: after installing everything the tension brackets are being put under an insane amount of pressure and ripping/twisting. Anyone ever see this? Have any advice on what could be causing the damage.
I remember someone who had a pretty twisted chassis and BS alignment having this happen at the track locally.
Is your lower rad support intact?
How in the world is your lower radiator support twisting to the point where its bending the tension rod buckets? Could you have ran something over where the rad support got smacked? Or could your LS moving so much that the radiator is causing the rad support to twist? My KA-T setup, the intercooler and radiator twist so much in drift that:
1.) radiator mounts bend over time
2.) intercooler pipes twist and break the mounts or bend the mount points on the chassis I also have issues with LCA bushings blowing out over time, due to drift events a few times a month. I suspect in your LS car you're hucking it good with the limit break kit, perhaps its time to reinforce the front end?
